I have had the opportunities and the good fortune to maintain creative momentum one way or another, for over three decades now. In that time techniques and styles employed in my art have ranged from the traditional and representaional, to the illustrative and graphic through too the more spontaneous abstract and expressionist approach, to mention but a few.
Constant companions throughout this journey (CV) have been the camera and the ever faithful Macintosh computer. I've always enjoyed the immediacy of photography. A shape, a colour, a highlight arrests the eye - you dissect it with the lens, record the image and move on. It's quick and allows a certain spontaneity in dealing with form and composition. And the Mac? Well, I wont bore the uninitiated with Macranting other than to say, if you own a Mac you'll know what I'm talking about - true love.
